Privacy Policy

The short version

Chatimator is built so that we don't have your data. The editor, the animation and the video encoding all run inside your browser. Your conversations, uploaded photos and sounds are never sent to our servers — there is no upload step and no cloud rendering queue. Exporting requires signing in with a free Google account, which gives us only your email address, plan and usage counts — never your content.

What we store, and where

• Your projects— conversations, contact names, avatars, uploaded images and sounds — are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. Clearing your browser data deletes them. We cannot see, access or recover them.
• Exported videos and screenshots are generated on your device and downloaded directly. They never pass through our infrastructure.

What we collect

When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (IP address, user agent) to serve pages — as every website does. If you sign in to export, we store your account email, your plan and your usage counts (exports and AI scripts used). Pro subscriptions are billed through PayPal — we never see your payment details. We do not run advertising trackers and do not sell data.

Cookies

Chatimator does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Signing in sets an authentication cookie to keep your session; local storage is used to save your projects on your own device.

Your content

Because nothing is uploaded, you retain complete ownership and control of everything you create. We never see it, so we cannot use it, train on it, or share it.

Children

Chatimator is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only personal information we hold about any user is the account email used for sign-in.
