Privacy Policy

The short version

Chatimator is built so that we don't have your data. The editor, the animation and the video encoding all run inside your browser. Your conversations, uploaded photos and sounds are never sent to our servers — there is no upload step, no cloud rendering queue and no account system.

What we store, and where

• Your projects— conversations, contact names, avatars, uploaded images and sounds — are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. Clearing your browser data deletes them. We cannot see, access or recover them.
• Exported videos and screenshots are generated on your device and downloaded directly. They never pass through our infrastructure.

What we collect

When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (IP address, user agent) to serve pages — as every website does. We do not run advertising trackers and do not sell data. If we add privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics in the future (page counts, not content), we will update this policy first.

Cookies

Chatimator does not set tracking cookies. Local storage is used only to save your projects on your own device.

Your content

Because nothing is uploaded, you retain complete ownership and control of everything you create. We never see it, so we cannot use it, train on it, or share it.

Children

Chatimator is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included — by design, we collect none.
